What is included in the tour price?
The tour price includes:
- Round trip transportation via luxury motorcoach.
- Highly rated accommodations chosen based on location, cleanliness and dining facilities as well as the warm hospitality of management and staff. Room assignments are arranged by the motel/hotel in an impartial manner. Let us know of any special needs when you make your reservation!
- Sightseeing tours, guides, and admissions as outlined in the itinerary.
- Baggage service on all overnight trips — each traveler may bring one (1) suitcase and one (1) carry-on bag.
- A tour host whose responsibility includes handling all tour details as well as offering complete attention to the comfort and pleasure of each passenger.
- Gratuities for all necessary inclusions such as hotel personnel, bellmen, restaurant wait staff, step-on guides and local guide services.
- Meals only where stated in the itinerary.
Other important information
Reservations
Make your reservations at the earliest possible date; we are limited by the number of seats on the motorcoach, the advance number of rooms we've reserved, and the advance number of event tickets that we purchased. Reservations are handled in the order in which they are received and are not confirmed without a deposit.
Final Tour Information
Seven to ten days prior to departure, you will receive final tour information including your boarding times and location, baggage tags, hotel names and telephone numbers, as well as other pertinent information.
Returned checks
There is a $25.00 service charge on returned checks.
Insurance
All passengers are insured while on the motorcoach. Travel Mates of Virginia is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged articles or luggage.
Tipping
Gratuities are included in our tour pricing for all necessary inclusions; gratuities for the driver and tour host are not included in the tour pricing. Travel Mates feels that tipping these individuals is at the discretion of the traveler, based on the level of service provided.
Proof of Citizenship
When traveling outside the United States of America, you must carry proof of citizenship. Ensure that your passport is valid for six (6) months after the return date of trip.
Responsibility
Travel Mates of Virginia acts only as selling agent for transportation services (whether by rail, motorcoach, air, boat or other means) and non-transportation services (including but not limited to hotels/motels, restaurant, sightseeing and amusements) sold or arranged by it; and as selling agent assumes no responsibility and shall not be held responsible for any injuries, loss (including but not limited to loss or damage to baggage or property), damage, inconvenience, delays or any additional costs due to any cause whatsoever. Travel Mates of Virginia reserves the right to decline, accept or remove any person as a member of a tour whether before or after commencement of the tour, and also reserves the right, without notice, to change the arrangements or cancel a tour should conditions necessitate such change or cancellation.
